Step-by-step guide to creating your Fount Developer Portal account, including account types, registration process, and troubleshooting tips
Getting Started
To begin using the Fount Developer Portal, you'll need to create an account. Visit the portal at https://fountondev.datapoem.ai and click "Sign up" on the login page.
There are two ways to register:
Step 1: Fill in your details
Complete the registration form with the following information:

| Type of Account | Personal or Organizational | ✅ |

| Job Title / Role | e.g., Developer, Data Scientist, CTO | ❌ |
| Terms of Service & Privacy Policy | Must accept to proceed | ✅ |
Step 2: Choose your account type
For individual use. Ideal for personal projects, experimentation, and prototyping.
For teams and companies. Includes team collaboration features and organization management.
If you select Organizational, the Organization Name field becomes required.
Step 3: Verify your email
- Click "Send Verification Code"
- Check your inbox for a one-time OTP code
- Enter the code on the verification screen
- Use "Resend OTP" if needed, available after 60 seconds
Check your spam or junk folder if you don't receive the OTP within a few minutes.
After registration
Once your account is successfully created, you'll be automatically logged in and taken to the portal dashboard.
First steps
- Create your first project
- Generate your first API key
- Explore the dashboard
Account setup
- Set up your profile and preferences
- Configure notification settings
- Invite team members (Organizational accounts)

Troubleshooting
OTP not received
- Check your spam or junk folder
- Verify that the email address you entered is correct
- Request a new OTP after 60 seconds using "Resend OTP"
- Contact support if the issue persists
Registration errors
- Make sure all required fields are filled in
- Confirm that the Terms of Service & Privacy Policy checkbox is selected
- Check that your email address format is valid (e.g., [email protected])
- Try using a different browser or clear your browser cache and cookies if the issue persists
Account type questions
- Personal accounts can be upgraded to Organizational accounts later
- Organizational accounts require a valid organization name at signup
- Contact sales for enterprise options
